Concord Floral is a performance that does not want to reveal everything on stage, but allows us to use our imagination. From the airy everyday-type language and József Iszlai's sinister, modern, ethereal music, and glitch-like video clips in the background that resemble the video games of the 1990s, we can put together an image of what Concord Floral is like.
Concord Floral’s duration is merely one hour, yet it is so rich and abundant that it can recharge the viewer in spite of its seemingly light style, but before doing so, it kindly forces us to strip off our prejudices.
The novel take of the production created by Ferenc Sinkó is important because its central theme, the bullying phenomenon, is a topic considered to be taboo in Romania. Specifically, it is difficult to talk about it, and neither educators nor parents have the means to make children understand why its effects can be injurious and long lasting - not only for the victims but also for those who witness such acts.

Digital Natives is an international theatrical project encompassing several member theaters of the Union des Théâtres de l’Europe (UTE), in which artists of different generations are provided with the opportunity, space and time to experience honest, bias-free curiosity towards each other’s worlds.
This was the starting point for the staging of Concord Floral, by young Canadian playwright Jordan Tannahill, which will be performed in Cluj-Napoca - just like in the other four European cities - by a selected group of digital native students. All of us – the creators, performers and spectators - can take part in a theatrical experience where intergenerational differences are erased, where youngsters and adults, parents and children inhabit the same dimension. The production explores topics of general interest such as guilt, sexuality, the irreversible consequences of our reckless actions, the inevitable solitude that is part of community existence, all from the perspective of this special generation.
An adult-free performance about adult problems, by teenagers and about teenagers, recommended not just to adolescents.
