Based on accounts, letters, and dairy entries of the time, through the life story of Arany János, the play strives to bring the mentality of the time’s great figures closer to the man of our times. By presenting us the human relationships of the Hungarian Reform Era and evoking the beliefs connected to the events of March 15, 1848, the production tries to unravel the connection between our lives today and the ideals of the 19th Century.

Petőfi's letter to Arany, 15 November 1848:
"My dear Djanko! Ay yem here leaving Debrecen, our battalion is went to Becskerek the day after tomorrow, and I am gone to Erdőd with Úrláb by January. So there be you to me scribbling even much. Honouring end kissing your familia and your person, I am here your friend."
