Oana Pellea
Oana Pellea opts not only for a summarizing script, but also for a type of delivery that avoids the pathetic as much as possible, in an attempt to fluently explain "how, while living in hell, you can discover and choose that heaven that is within you". Perhaps so that those for whom the testimony is being mediated may avoid the hellish. "Prison is a colossal experience. If you survive. If you escape with your soul unscathed.", says Lena Constante through Oana Pellea's voice, which is characterized by a powerful range of emotion.

Oana Pellea testifies, does not narrate, she turns into Lena Constante, becomes her voice, without giving the audience time to judge the differences between the two women. Sitting upright in her chair, unmoving, Oana Pellea brings Lena Constante to life, using a facial expression that is more than expressive and sudden movements of the head. Lena Constante's totally suppressed personal freedom is given meaning by this minimalist performance, this meticulous, detailed construction of each moment. All around her are the microphones that make it seem like a press conference, but in reality, they build walls of silence and maximally constrain Lena's movements, becoming the corset that tightens to the point of suffocation.

A life. A book. An adaptation...
You can't "perform the life" of a human being through dramatization. I find it indecent. That's why The Silent Escape is a confession, and not a theatrical performance. My goal is not to engage in an acting performance, but rather a human experience to be shared with you. I would like the text and the experience of a human phenomenon by the name of Lena Constante to reach the audience.
For me, it is a duty of honor to make this Life Lesson known to the public: How you can escape from living hell by plunging into the heaven that lies within you. I invite you to witness a confession.
The biggest disappointment for me would be to hear: 'that was good acting'.
I don't want to 'act'.
I don't want to be an actress in this show.
I just want to humbly share with you the experience of this exceptional Soul. That is all.
