KAIJU - literally meaning “strange beast”- refers to the giant monsters from Japanese movies. In an augmented reality device, a hip-hop dancer, a graphic designer, and a visual artist are trying to manipulate images that haunt and transform us.
Kaiju explores the question of eternal childhood and ponders whether there is something like a mysterious monster 2.0, coming from mass-media and entertainment, growing inside us.
