The Romanian Association of Theatre Artists (UNITER) has nominated the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj’s two-evening production of Angels in America in four separate categories. The jury made up of theatre critics Ludmilla Patlanjoglu, Alina Epîngeac and Călin Ciobotari nominated Ervin Szűcs for Best Actor for the role of Prior Walter, Emőke Kató for Best Supporting Actress, and Zsolt Bogdán for Best Supporting Actor. Moreover, Victor Ioan Frunză, who staged the performance, was nominated for Best Director of 2017. The 26^th edition of the UNITER Gala will be held this year on 7 May, in Alba Iulia.

Angels in America will be performed next in the Studio Hall of the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj on March 10 and 11.
