In the Backstage series, the focus is not on the events occurring on stage, but on the ones happening behind-the-scenes, in the various departments of the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj, all of which contribute to how the theatre operates, and without which the audience would not be able to enjoy the performances night by night.

Backstage #1 – Document Repository
In the first part, we get an insight into how the theatre's archive works, guided by actor Balázs Bodolai.
Backstage #2 – Lighting technicians
In the second episode we get some insight into the work of the theatre's lighting technicians, with actor Kiss Tamás as our guide.
Backstage #3 – Costume shop
In the third episode we get some insight into the work of the theatre's costume shop, with Andrea Vindis as our guide.
Backstage #4 – Administration
Guided by Áron Dimény, in episode four we get a glimpse into the theatre's administration office.
Backstage #5 – Production
In the fifth episode we'll be popping in to see the locksmithing, carpentry and painters' workshops, with Tamás Kiss as our guide.
Backstage #6 – Props shop
In the sixth episode we'll be popping in to see the props shop and the propmen, with Szabolcs Balla as our guide.
Backstage #7 – Welcoming the audience
Guided by Zsolt Gedő, the 7th part of our Backstage series introduces those colleagues who play the most important role in welcoming our audiences. The time has come to get familiar with the work of the Ticket Officer, House personnel, and Cleaning staff.
Backstage #8 – Marketing & PR
Guided by Áron Dimény, part 8 provides insight into the work of the marketing department, where you can learn about all the tasks that the team performs beyond communicating between the audience and the theatre.
Backstage #9 – Wardrobe assistants, Make up/Hairstylist
In the ninth episode, Eszter Román will show us what the men's and women's dressers do, where the costumes are stored and how the make-up assistant/hairstylist works.
Backstage #10 – Stage crew
With Ferenc Sinkó as our guide, in the 10th part we find out what tasks the stage crew has, what the furnisher does, how much weight do the people who man the fly system lift, and we also reveal where the coordination of the technical departments takes place.
Backstage #11 – Sound assistants
In the penultimate part of our series, Loránd Farkas will provide us with insight into the diverse work of the sound management team.
Backstage #12 – Stage management
In the last part of our series we'll meet the stage managers and the director's assistant. Csilla Albert will be our guide in learning about the work of those tasked with coordinating all departments involved in a show.
