WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT? EXTRA — Post performance discussion WITH DIMÉNY ÁRON

June 23, 2026

Studio

The season-closing event of the “What's It All About?” theater education program is linked to the performance of Black Out.
The basic premise of György Spiró’s play was born out of a historical crisis. Anxiety and sobriety drive the protagonist to make bold decisions and take actions that fundamentally shake the family’s relationships and harmony.
During the preparatory session, we will explore, act out, and reflect on the themes of the battles of love and the act of sacrifice, while also getting in the right frame of mind for the performance.
The post-performance discussion, which will also be interactive, will unfold based on what we saw in the performance (events, decisions, and relationships).
The guest speaker for the post-performance discussion will be actor Áron Dimény.

We welcome applications from adults (including uni students) for the What's It All About? program, which will take place on the following dates:

- Prep session: Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 6:00 pm, in the theater's Studio

- Black Out performance: Thursday, June 25, 2026, starting at 8:00 pm

- Post-performance session: Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 6:00 pm, in the theater Studio.

You may participate in just the preparatory session and performance viewing, or the performance viewing and post-performance sessions; however, we would be delighted if participants could attend all three program events.

The sessions will be led by Tünde Kocsis, a theater educator, who will be joined by Lilla Horváth, a theater education specialist, for the preparatory session.

Further details: The participation fee is the full price of a theater ticket (60 lei).
