Harag György memorial exhibition

december 03, 2021

Upstairs Foyer

The exhibition presents the work of theatre director György Harag, with photographs from his greatest performances, archive material and letters from friends. This time the itinerant exhibition comes to Cluj-Napoca, one of the most important places in the life of the famous artist.  His name has been linked to the Hungarian State Theatre since 1947, where he staged his most important performances, including the playes of András Sütő.

Two books published by MMA Publishing House will also be presented at the opening: ’He Wanted to Embrace the Whole World – György Harag's Theatre’ and the collection of texts entitled ’A European in Cluj-Napoca.’
