On March 14, the Romanian Theatre Association (UNITER) published the list of nominees for the 2022 UNITER Awards.

The jury of theatre critics and creators, consisting of Doru Mareş (critic), Maria Miu (set designer), Victor Scoradeţ (critic), Iris Spiridon (director) and Carmen Stanciu (theatre critic) nominated Éva Imre for the Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Barbarian B. in Young Barbarians.

The Senate of the Romanian Theatre Association, on the basis of the proposals presented by the member theatres and the Senate, will confer the Ion Caramitru Award for Excellence to the Interferences International Theatre Festival, organized by the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj, within the 31st UNITER Awards Gala.
