FIDDLER ON THE ROOF ON NEW YEAR’S EVE AT THE HUNGARIAN THEATRE OF CLUJ!

Sheldon Harnick - Jerry Bock - Joseph Stein’s highly successful musical Fiddler on the Roof is closing the year 2021 at the Hungarian Theatre in Cluj. The performance directed by László Béres will take place on Friday, December 31, at 7 pm, in the theatre's Main Hall.

"The cream of the crop at the theatre makes their appearance as the inhabitants of the cosy village of Anatevka. They can do a synchronised and quite lively dance. They are not your average, ‘choreographer-drilled’ and ‘string-puppet’ dance troupe, all wearing the same uniform grin, or curling their lips downwards on command. They all have individual personalities and auras. I don’t know where to fix my eyes, since I want to see each of them at the same time. They are instantly endearing. They don’t press forward unless it’s needed; they’re content to stay in the background, yet their presence is still distinctly felt. They have a decisive role in making this show such a hit." – stated critic Gábor Bóta about the performance.

Tevye, the male protagonist is portrayed by Zsolt Bogdán, while the cast includes: Emőke Kató, Csilla Albert, Andrea Vindis, Anikó Pethő, Zsuzsa Tőtszegi, Eszter Román, Melinda Kántor, Attila Orbán, Tamás Kiss, Csilla Varga, Loránd Farkas, Réka Zongor, Réka Csutak, Ervin Szűcs, Balázs Bodolai, Áron Dimény, Csaba Marosán, Gábor Viola, Róbert Laczkó Vass, Lóránd Váta, Alpár Fogarasi, Szabolcs Balla, Tekla Tordai, Gizella Kicsid, Éva Imre, Andrea Kali, Zsolt Gedő, Júlia Laczó, Ferenc Sinkó, András Buzási, Előd Bálint, Máté Erdei, Gellért Nagy, Kristóf Nagy Kopeczky, Szabolcs Orbán, Péter Varga and Áron Wagner.
