CELEBRATING HUNGARIAN POETRY DAY WITH WORKS WRITTEN BY CONTEMPORARY TRANSYLVANIAN POETS

The Hungarian Theatre of Cluj will mark Hungarian Poetry day with the works of 33 contemporary Transylvanian poets.

The actors of our company will recite the poems of Ferenc André, Imre József Balázs, Zsófia Balla, Péter Demény, Emese Egyed, Éva Farkas Wellmann, Vince Fekete, István Ferenczes, Benji Horváth, Laura Iancu, Károly Jánk, Ágnes Kali, Zsolt Karácsonyi, Ferenc Kenéz, Imola Kézdi, Farkas Király, László Király, Zoltán Király, András Ferenc Kovács, Robert Laczkó Vass, Orsolya Láng, Noémi László, László Lövétei Lázár, Béla Markó, Attila Nagy, Botond Noszlopi, Attila Zsolt Papp, Miriám Sánta, Zalán Serestély, László Szűcs, Gábor Tompa, Melinda Varga and András Visky.

Since 1964, Hungarian Poetry Day has been celebrated on April 11, on the birthday of Attila József.

The event will take place online on the company’s Facebook page on Sunday, April 11.
