On August 29, the XXXII edition of the Kisvárda Festival of Hungarian Theatres came to an end. The festival competition also included the performance of András Visky’s Porno – The Story of My Wife, a co-production between the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj and the Gyula Castle Theatre.

The director of the performance, Árpád Árkosi, won the award for Best director from the Ministry of Human Resources, while Éva Imre won the Mayor of Kisvárda’s award for her portrayal in the production.

Eszter Román, a new member of our company, won the Teplánszky Award for the Most Promising Talent for her performance in the production of Acacias from the Parc staged by the Szigligeti Theatre of Oradea.
