WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT? – A THEATRICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR ADULTS AT THE HUNGARIAN THEATRE OF CLUJ

The Hungarian Theatre of Cluj’s theatrical education program entitled What’s It All About? will debut a series dedicated to adults. The educational package scheduled for the spring season will address issues concerning the expected and unexpected, as well as credulousness and ambition.

The adult packages will tackle these issues through two distinct productions - The Merchant of Venice (March 22) and The Bourgeois Gentleman (April 12).

The group will discuss the notions of expected and unexpected by way of The Merchant of Venice. How do unexpected events affect us? How about the expected ones, especially if they do not turn out precisely as previously planned? These questions and more will be broached on the occasion of the preparatory session on Tuesday, March 19, at 6 pm, as well as the latter session, on Thursday, March 28, at 6 pm.

The group will address the issues of credulousness and ambition through The Bourgeois Gentleman. The preparatory session will take place on Monday, April 8, at 6 pm, while the session subsequent to the performance will be held on Monday, April 15, at 6 pm.

Location of sessions: the theatre’s rehearsal room.

Duration of sessions: 90 minutes.

Instructors: Izabella Kasza psychotherapist and Tünde Kocsis dramatic pedagogy specialist.
