On February 22, the Romanian Theatre Association (UNITER) published its nominees for the 2018 UNITER Awards. 

The jury made up of theatre critics Monica Andronescu, Oana Borş and Mircea Morariu nominated director Gábor Tompa for the Best Director Award, for the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj’s production of The Merchant of Venice.

The list of all the nominees for the prestigious awards is available on the UNITER website.

The Merchant of Venice can be viewed tonight at 7 pm, in the Main Hall of the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj; subsequent performances will take place on March 8 and 22, as well as April 16 and 19. 

Tickets can be purchased at the theatre’s ticket office on weekdays between 10 am and 2 pm, as well as online at www.biletmaster.ro.
