The Hungarian Theatre of Cluj’s production of Rosmersholm has been included in the competition of the 18th edition of the National Theatre Reunion of Pécs. The play will take place on Wednesday, June 13, at 8 pm, in the Main Hall of the Pécs National Theatre. The performance will be followed by a professional conference about the play organized the next day at the House of Literature and Arts in Pécs, led by Balázs Lévai.

The theatrical event taking place between June 7 and 16 will be hosting seven Main Hall and another seven Studio Hall performances. Szabó, theatre critic Gábor Bóta, choreographer Zoltán Zsuráfszky.

János Térey, one of members of the panel selecting performances to take part in the event, said the following about Rosmersholm: “Hammering through the door, even beyond the cracks developed; the bourgeois existence as a scandalous meal, as well as the amortization of the coffee set: Rosmersholm, this Northern Manderley House, is crippling everyone.”
