Kutyából szalonna

concert for children

The children’s poems in János Lackfi’s latest volume, Kutyából szalonna, have been set to music by Kaláka and the result is a rare harmony between music and words. Lackfi is a master of the Hungarian language, boisterously and spontaneously playful, which is why the reception of these poems is an easy and enjoyable ride. Chidren as well as grown-ups will love this show. Some of the poems will be performed by Lackfi himself accompanied by the melodic, rhythmic music, which promises a great experience.

In addition to the allegorical poem A walesi bárdok, discussing the relationship between the poet and tyranny, other famous poems will be performed, e. g. Családi kör, Epilógus, Tamburás öreg úr. The band invited poet János Lackfi, whose Arany-transcript will also be presented. Kaláka’s inspired performance of these gems of Hungarian literature promises a wonderful experience.
